SCHEDULE:
Over the course of 7 weeks, we will help you discover and build a solid foundation for your life by exploring the essentials of the Christian faith. You will also get a better understanding and ‘feel’ for the DNA of our church. Our Foundations course is built on 2 modules and covers the following key topics:
MODULE ONE: DISCOVER TRUTH
- Oct 14 | TRUTH
- What is the nature of truth? How can we know what is true? Is truth absolute?
- Oct 21 | JESUS
- What is the truth about Jesus? What makes him unique?
- Oct 28 | SCRIPTURE
- What is the truth about the Bible? Why should we believe the Bible?
MODULE TWO: FOLLOW JESUS
- Nov 04 | GOSPEL
- Who is God? What is the gospel? What is the story of God?
- Nov 11 | WORSHIP
- How do we relate to God? How does Jesus change us?
- Nov 18 | COMMUNITY
- How should I relate to others? What is the church? Why is forgiveness important?
- Nov 25 | MISSION
- What is my purpose in life? How should I relate to those who don’t believe what I believe? Who is the Holy Spirit and what’s His role in my life?
REGISTRATION:
The Course runs on a Sunday from 12-1pm. Because each week builds upon the previous week, make sure you can attend all or most of the 7 weeks before registering. There is a $15 charge to cover all your materials for both modules. You can pay this at the first class.
