Redemption – Part 1: Coming Home

Redemption – Part 1: Coming Home

The economic conditions at home were desperate. So much so that a man decided to move his family to another country where there was hope of a better life for him, his wife, and their children. It looked promising at first. But things took a turn for the worst. In brief, three women were left widowed and forced to fend for themselves in a strange land.  Leaving everything behind was a hard choice. Dealing with unexpected tragedies was even harder. But there was news that the situation at home was improving. Was it time to make the trip back? Was there something to come back to? Moving one’s family to another country is not an unusual situation. Many have done just that, to find better jobs, a better education for their kids and the opportunity to fulfill their dreams. What was different about this other family’s situation that carries with it a deeper message about Coming Home?  Join us for this 4-part Christmas series where we look at the story of Ruth, a compelling real-life, biblical account of a family’s journey to redemption.
