Pressure Points: Relationships

“It’s not the job that I find difficult to deal with; it’s the people.”  This statement often gets a chuckle because many can relate to its irony. While friendships and other relationships can be the best thing that has happened in our lives, it can also cause pressure.  People disagree and complain; they can be jealous and argumentative. While many long for fulfilling relationships – a significant other – they’ll be the first to admit that relationships often make life more complicated, adding challenges they did not have while on their own. What is it about relationships that can bring out the best, and also the worst, in people, and what kind of help and perspective does the Bible provide?
