Love someone who hurt you? (…really?) Love someone who spread lies about you? (…truly?) Love someone who embezzled money from your business? (…let me think about that one…) Love the person who stole your girlfriend, or boyfriend…or spouse…from you? (…you’ve got to be kidding!) The list can go on, from bad to worse and back again. It just doesn’t make sense. Why would Jesus ask us (command us!) to love our enemies? What did he know that we don’t? Let’s talk about it.
