Joining a volunteer team is a great way to practice serving others, grow personally, and build community with those you serve alongside. We have many areas and ways your gifts and abilities could be put to use. A lot of our teams are involved on a Sunday helping to make our worship service experience both engaging and excellent. And don’t worry. We provide ongoing training and encouragement for all our volunteers. Below are the core teams needed for Sunday services in particular.
**NB UPDATE: In this phase of regathering, we specifically need volunteers to join our Connection Crew, EN Kids, and Hospitality Teams. If that’s you or you request further information, let us know by clicking the button and filling out our Next Step Card.
Our connection crew are the first to make an impression on new guests and the regulars. So, we’re looking for friendly faces and warm smiles, especially on those cold, wintery Sundays.
Love working with children and have the energy to match? Then we are looking for you! Our amazing children’s team aim to provide a safe, creative and fun environment every week for our kids to learn and grow in. Currently, we cater for ages 3-11yrs.
(Please note: volunteering for the children’s ministry will require a police clearance and background check.)
Hospitality is a way of thoughtfully welcoming people to our Sunday service. We do this through Coffee & Refreshments. One of the highlights of our Sunday services is what happens after the service. Who doesn’t like catching up and hanging around when there’s free refreshments and coffee around?! And it’s all thanks to our hospitality team.
Our music team lead us in worship every Sunday. Auditioning for and joining this team requires a certain level of aptitude musically and/or vocally. so, if tat’s you, we’d love to meet you!
Sound is for you whether you’re technically minded and enjoy adjusting EQ settings, or just have two free hands that can help run cables and move speakers.
Our desire is to livestream and record our services for others to be able to access it online. This requires setting up cameras, working a switcher, and producing like a Spielberg boss (ok, that last part may not be a requirement).
Our visual team run the AV for our service, preparing the slides and service planner in advance, as well as working with ProPresenter during the service.
