Do you remember being taught how to speak respectfully to an uncle or aunt or to your grandparents? How did you know that offering a bowl of soup to a sick friend or helping a neighbour to change a flat tire was an act of kindness? Do you remember the time your parents urged you to forgive a brother or sister for something they had done to hurt you? The Bible is full of instructions on how we are to treat one another – love one another, pray for one another, bear with one another, forgive one another. Why is it necessary to be reminded of such things? Shouldn’t they be second nature to us? Join us for another perspective on how we are called to live our lives in a world filled with…well…other people!
