Wouldn’t it be great to have The Endless Summer just like the 1966 iconic surf movie? Its title comes from the idea, expressed at both the beginning and end of the film, that if you had enough time and money it would be possible to travel and follow the summer around the world – in effect making our summer endless. But for most of us, that is not reality. So as summer draws to a close, we start a new season of work. There are seasons and ‘rhythms’ in life, including the rhythms of work and rest. This week we will look at what the Bible has to say about the importance of these rhythms and how to manage them to truly enjoy and thrive in this life. Join us at one of our three Sunday services: 10:30 AM at Innis Town Hall, Downtown Toronto; 2:30 PM at World Vision Center in Mississauga; and 5:30 PM at The Chinese Cultural Center in Scarborough.
