Forgiven

Forgiven

There is a fascination with superheroes, maybe because they have powers that give them superhuman abilities. Many comic book heroes get their special powers after being exposed to some kind of radiation, as happened with the Incredible Hulk and Spiderman. Whatever their origins, their ability to go above and beyond human limitations makes them unique and attractive. But regular people like you and I need superhuman powers every day. There is one act that we will have to perform countless times in our lives that requires nothing less that superhuman abilities. It’s the act of Forgiveness.

Forgiveness has been called a supernatural act. It is something we cannot do on our own. How can you forgive members of your own family who have betrayed you – and not only forgive them, but bless them? Is that just too much to ask? This Sunday we start a new series called “Forgiven” with the story of how a family’s betrayal and a young man’s life that went from bad to worse actually helps bring healing and health to his family and those around him. Come this Sunday, and bring a friend, to know how to access the superpower needed to be able to forgive the unforgivable. See you @10:30 a.m. at Innis Town Hall.
