The Lord’s Prayer: PETITION

Does God care if I don’t have enough money to pay my rent or make my next car payment?  Isn’t God busy with more pressing global issues than to be concerned about my ability to pay my credit card bill or an unexpected expense? It costs money to live – and the pressures to have the latest gadget, a better car, or the latest fashions, place extra demands on your wallet. It boils down to whether we believe we will have our daily needs met. Throughout this series, we’ve seen that the basis for approaching God in prayer rests in our relationship with Him as our Father. And like any good Dad, we’ll discover that he not only knows our needs before we ask him, but he delights in meeting our needs.
