According to one calculation, about one third of the hours in our adult lives is spent ‘working.’ Do you find that the time you spend at work, or working, is fulfilling and rewarding? Do you feel satisfied that what you do in your job is important and making a difference? Or at least that you are doing good work that needs to be done? If you are currently in school, do you hope that one day you will have a great job that makes all your studying worthwhile? The Bible has a lot to say about work. That is what we will look at this week as we launch our new series that we believe will give us Biblical answers to the meaning and joy of work.
