When we view injustices around us, how do we react? Do we publicly or even privately wish that these people would pay for their wrongful ways? Jonah felt like that. He wanted to see a city and its people destroyed for their sinful living. He was given a mission by God to tell the people of Nineveh that disaster would come upon them because of their evil ways. Interestingly enough, when the Ninevites repented and turned to God, Jonah was still angry and wanted to see the city destroyed. Did you ever think that if we were in God’s place, cities would be destroyed? Thank goodness that we are not God! God has a heart for people and cities, even cities like Nineveh…even cities like Toronto! Come this Sunday and learn more about God’s heart for our city. See you @10:30 a.m. Innis Town Hall.
