God’s Story: The Flood

Gen 6-9 recounts how Noah and his immediate family are rescued from the flood. The whole narrative is presented as the undoing of creation and then the “re-creation” of the earth as it emerges from the flood. The Flood represents both the judgement and grace of God as it prepares us for something greater to come in God’s Story to give us not just a new start but new hearts.
